Mohamed Salah expresses his delight and pride after scoring his 50th European goal for Liverpool

Mohamed Salah scored his 50th goal for Liverpool in European competition as they beat Lille 2-1 to secure a place in the last 16 of the Champions League, becoming the top scorer in Europe and taking his tally to 20 in the Champions League at Anfield.

The 32-year-old has scored three Champions League goals this season and 22 in 31 games in all competitions, while also being involved in 17 goals.

And his total goal involvements of 39 are the highest of any other player in Europe’s top five leagues.

“I’m not sure about that, but I’ll do my best,” Salah told สมัคร UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่. “I’m very happy and proud of it, especially after we won the game because that was important. As for scoring 50 goals, to be honest, before the game I wasn’t focused on that.”

“They played very well and are unbeaten in 21 games. They are a strong team. We give them credit, but I am happy we got the win.”

“We won the ball back from them, Curtis played a great ball and I scored. They tried to counter and scored. I’m a little disappointed because it’s very important to keep a clean sheet.”

“I think when you want to win big trophies you need a big squad. We have a good squad at the moment so hopefully we can keep that standard.”

Although the Reds have secured their place in the last 16, they still need to secure a point from PSV Eindhoven in their final game to secure their place at the top of the league table.
